”Under Duress” situations are indeed difficult to defend against; but as Mr. Timmons has re-emphasized, that account is “gone.”

Setup a new AppleID with a new device and move on.

Consider employing Stolen Device Protection in the future so as to incur a mandatory 60-minute timeout delay in the future.

Lastly, you should re-evaluate what data you carry on your mobile device in the future.

Just because data CAN be on your mobile device does NOT mean that it has to be … or that it even should … be there.

I don't know if there is anything in here that would help you to recover control of the Apple Account.

If you think your Apple Account has been compromised - Apple Support

Even if you can, the phone is long gone. The criminal will have used your credentials to remove it from the system so that you cannot trigger Activation Lock, or request a remote Erase. Asking your carrier to blacklist the phone is the only option left to try to make the phone less valuable to the criminal (or whomever they sold it to).

If you were synchronizing data to iCloud, or backing up data to iCloud, and the criminal has not vandalized that data, there might be some benefit to you in recovering control of your account (e.g., getting your photos back) – but if the criminal had your credentials, that data may also have been compromised.

It's too late. The thief made you give them your Apple ID Password. There's nothing you can do now. You need to contact your carrier and ask them to blacklist your phone, so it at least can't be activated on a network.

You'll need to buy a new phone. You need to also change the passwords to apps like banking apps, social media, etc.
