can't edit screenshot in 12 inch ipad pro M1 (not always happened)

I’m encountering an issue with the screenshot editing feature on my iPad. My usual process involves:
- Taking a screenshot.
- Cropping or editing the screenshot.
- Using the "Copy and Delete" option.
- Pasting the screenshot into another app from the clipboard.
However, this method doesn’t always work as expected. Sometimes, after doing screenshot , the screenshot disappears and goes directly to Photos instead of staying to be edited.
This issue has been persistent since iPadOS 16 and continues to occur even now on iPadOS 18.2. I’ve already tried performing a factory reset back in 2023, but it didn’t resolve the issue.
Has anyone else faced this problem? Are there any additional troubleshooting steps or fixes I can try? I’d appreciate your help in resolving this.
