New iMac Sequoia stays on all night with screensaver

i just got this thing. it stayed on all night with screensaver and didnt go into standby mode to turn screen off. i looked up trying to find the setting and all the responses were for older os versions. i looked up all the options in the settings and there is nothing available in the screensaver or the energy area to have the screen turn off after a certain amount of time to save use on the monitor. does anyone know how to fix this? thank you for any help.
