Display battery level of mouse and keyboard on the macOS Batteries widget

How do I show the battery level of mousse and keyboards on the macOS Batteries widget that can be added to the macOS desktop? This feels like a major oversight to me, how can the most commonly used peripherals for a computer not have their battery percentage displayed in the macOS Battery widget? Only the power level of the computer and headphones seems to be displayed. I know I can click on the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar but the problem is that I forget to click it and therefore forget to monitor the battery level of my devices and keep them charged. I'm using a Razer Pro Click mouse and Keychron keyboard, both of which reports their battery percentage in the Bluetooth-dropdown of the macOS menu bar.

I've submitted this as a feedback to Apple: Feedback - macOS - Apple I suggest anyone else frustrated by this do the same.

Thank you for letting me know and including a useful screenshot. This just confirms that Apple doesn't allow third party peripherals to display their battery percentage in the macOS desktop widget. The battery status of my Razer Pro Click mouse and Keychron keyboard is displayed if I click the bluetooth icon in the menu bar so clearly my Mac is able to know the battery status of third party peripherals, Apple just doesn't allow third party mice and keyboard peripherals to display their battery percentage in the desktop widget which is very frustrating... Apparently I have not given Apple enough money with my $3000 USD Mac, I also need to buy their keyboard and mouse for the privilege of being able to see the battery status in the macOS desktop widget.

Yes thank you for the suggestion but as you say it would be more elegant if Apple just allowed me to keep track of the battery percentage at a glance on my desktop for third party peripherals that are not Apple mice and Apple keyboard.
