How can I update macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 on Mac?

I am trying to update my macOS high Sierra 10.13.6

I cannot seem to find anything in the App Store. can someone tell me how I can update?

yes, that helps. that Mac can be upgraded up to and including macOS Ventura. I would recommend at least upgrading to catalina before trying to get to Ventura, as high Sierra directly to Ventura might be too much of a jump. and if you have the time, it may be wise to upgrade one macOS at a time all the way up to Ventura.

If you upgrade to Catalina or later,

  • 32-bit applications will stop working
  • iTunes will go away, replaced by separate applications (Music, TV, Podcasts, Books), and Finder-based (iPhone, iPad, iPod) management.


Note that Ventura is the only version of macOS that your system can run that is still among the "most recent three" that vendors like Microsoft and Adobe support.
