Downgrade Airport Extreme Firmware (Follow up of https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6054235)

Hi,

the question is very old and I think no one wants to downgrade the firmware version because of security patches and so on.

In my case I searched for an answer for this problem and found the above thread but without giving the right answer. Maybe AirPort Utility 6.3 from 2015 was not able to download versions, I don't know.

Right now I'm using the Airport Utility 6.3.9 on a Mac with Ventura 13.7.3. If you click on the AirPort Extreme or similar the actual version and other data is shown in the popup window as you know, like here

Now press the ALT/Option key and hover over the version number. A small triangle on the right of the version number will appear. Click on it. Now you can select the firmware version in a pull down menu.

After selecting a version or the file from disc the following window will appear.
