Hi I’ve replaced the battery on my air tag but when I press down on the new battery it doesn’t beep. So I’m wondering if the new battery is not working. Any ideas please?.

Assuming that the AirTag was working previously, the “prime suspect” in these cases is a replacement battery with a bitterant coating.
Solution is to select an alternative battery brand without the coating.
