Apple Car Play Disconnects at certain locations

I have begun documenting when CarPlay randomly stops working. If I’m ton a call and Carplay stop working, the call transfers back to my iPhone. I have a 2024 Prius Prime. All seemed to work well until IOS 17 something that came out over the summer. It’s very frustrating and random. I’ve reset my network settings on the iPhone. I have done this wirelessly and with the cord. I’ve also ignored the car/iPhone and paired again, numerous times restarted the phone restarted the car numerous times brought it into Toyota twice. Toyota could not find anything wrong with the infotainment system and yet other car owners were expressing similar Carplay issues. When I do reboot the infotainment system it seems to reconnect CarPlay, but I need to go ahead and Initiate everything else. This is very inconvenient when I’m driving. It seems to help for a few days, and Carplay disconnects again. I’ve even went so far to go in to the Wi-Fi settings and turned off “private wifi” settings from “fixed” to turn “off” and also “private WiFi address”. I did this based on two different recommendations similar folks have posted. Everything seem to work for a few days until it didn’t today. Got disconnected twice From CarPlay while driving. Hope my experience will help find a solution.

I have an iPhone 16 pro max and it’s all up to date.

I have mostly been sticking to wireless CarPlay so I can document the CarPlay disconnects. I have also use an Apple cord for charging/data as well, and it too happened there.
