Why is my new iPhone 13 battery is draining rapidly?

When an iPhone is first setup it has a lot of data to index, sync and upload to your iCloud account. It’s normal for this activity to consume a lot of the daily battery capacity for the first 3 days or so.

Many social media apps are also not fully optimized by their developers to run efficiently on iOS 18.X yet. Make sure you are using the latest versions of any third party apps. You can check which apps are using your battery capacity by following this path and sharing a screenshot.

iPhone > Settings > Battery > screenshot that shows bottom graph and apps for last 24 hours of usage. Please use mine below for comparison.

The top 3 apps are using 70% of your daily battery capacity. Make sure you’ve updated to their latest versions. If that doesn’t resolve their excessive battery consumption, you’ll need to report the issue to their support teams.
