MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.15
Catalina (10.15.7) is the highest possible for that model.

I have three working MBP 2012 and can confirm Catalina installs and runs on them
though I have Mojave on two to run Photoshop CS6 -- great laptops with maxed 16gb RAM and SSD upgrades
