eSIMs in iPhone 12 Mini vs in iPhone 13 Mini

-- I read in the Apple info that iPhones can accommodate 8 eSIMs or more.

Compare the iPhone 12 mini and the iPhone 13 Mini. Same number od eSIMs accomodated orhas one more "space" then the other?

-- Suppose you use up al 8 eSIMs ("or more") and if you only use the Apple apps, no other apps at all.

Is a 64GB edition in the case of the iPhone 12 Mini than sufficient?

NB

I am located in Europe not in China or elswhere in Asia were there are other models of iPhones

I am not interested in using two phone nummbers at the same time.

Many thanks in advance.

First, the iPhone has 8 eSIM slots, meaning that you can have up to 8 numbers on iPhone, but only 2 of them can be active at the same time. But they don’t get used up; when you delete one eSIM that slot can be reused. Also, eSIM slots do not use any storage.

But 64 GB is marginal in any smartphone today, because the higher resolution cameras in newer models mean that photos will each be significantly larger. Get the most storage you can afford.

Dear Lawrence Finch,

Thank you very much for your explanation. So both the iPhones that I mentioned have place for 8 eSIMs.

Not using any storage? Great to know. The iPhone 12 Mini with 64GB seems fine for me, as I do not intend to make any photographs with that one. For photography I have another iPhone. Also as I said extra apps, apart from the Apple ones, will not be installed.

Beste Wishes for 2025!
