Final cut pro camera and blackmagic camera app: the live view is lagging

I'm having some issues with the Final Cut Camera and Blackmagic Camera apps on my iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Live view is lagging a little bit in both, especially in the Final Cut Camera app: the image on the screen seems to drop a few frames when I pan the camera in 4K 30 fps, even when I'm not recording video.

Recorded video works fine.

I've tried deleting and reinstalling the apps, but that hasn't changed anything.

What could be the problem?

Are you using stabilisation in the apps?

I’ve no idea then I’m afraid. The only time I see lag on screen like you describe is with stabilisation on. I mainly use Cinema P3 app where there is a setting to turn the visibleeffects of stabilisation on or off. I can’t see any similar setting in the BM app or Final Cut camera and it is not relevant anyway if you have stabilisation off.

No I'm not using any stabilization in the apps, only the default stabilization on the native app.

I tried to turn the default stabilization off, just to be sure, but nothing happened.
