Apple Store price match with Amazon for MacBook

Nope! Make sure the seller on Amazon is legitimate and that it is not a used or refurbished device.

If you are going to buy an Apple product from any source other than Apple, make sure that it is a legitimate authorized Apple reseller. They can be found here: Find Locations

Any other Amazon source will be selling used Macs or is otherwise not authorized by Apple. The only reason to buy from a source other than Apple would be to take advantage of that merchant's "rewards program", to redeem a gift card for that merchant, or some other similar incentive.

At one time Amazon offered a "no questions asked" return policy that was more generous than Apple's, and it might have made sense to buy from them vs. Apple directly. Those days are gone. If you buy a Mac from Amazon and have a problem with it, Amazon won't want to know you. They will refer you to Apple.
