How do I remove a updates from iPhone updates

I have an old version of a iPhone app that is working well on my iPhone 11 with no problem, there is a new update but it does not function as it should and does not work as well as the old version I use. I sent a message to developer explaining the problem I get with the new App and explained that the old app works with np problems. I have got no reply as yet, so need to stop the new app update from showing on on update list as some times it manages to get installed then I have to use iMazing 3 to remove it ang reinstall the old version manually. it is a pain.

With Settings > App Store > App Updates turned off, I have not seen any of my Apps update unless I update them. There is the Update All button, but that is obvious.

I understand you are using iMazing on your PC and I have used it myself. Do I think that is a solution for installing an old version of an app? Absolutely Not. Personally, I would not recommend it to another user, or even consider it as an acceptable answer, but that is my opinion and I refrained from mentioning it in my previous post.

The update is not a layer on top of the old app that can be removed, it is a complete app with a different version number that is installed and the previous one is deleted. The App Store will only have the latest version of the app for your device and you cannot revert to a previous version.

Since, the developer recently updated the app, they are still active, so if they are not responding to your emails, I would write a review for the app in the App Store and express your concerns. Sometimes developers will respond much quicker when your post is visible to others who are looking to download the app.

Yes it is possible to reinstall the old version of the App using a Program on My PC called iMazing 3. When a Apple App is running ok I save the App with iMazing 3 in ipa format so can be installed from file with iMazing 3 at later date if needed. Think I have Auto App update switched off but have noticed somehow the update installs when I do others it is just a pain that I can not just hide the new updated version out the way.
