Keyboard Clicking Sound set to "OFF" but still clicking plus+ spicy bugs

Have the latest 18.2 update, Iphone 15 pro max

Sounds&Haptics > Keyborad Feedback > Sound > Off Next: Haptic > OFF

As we can see my settings have the keyboard sounds off but for some reason the CLICKING is still happening.

Not sure what else to check ?

Now here is where it gets spicy, when I type in the facebook app for example the clicking persists. When I go use imessages the clicking stops.

When I go to safari the clicking sound is present, when I go to WhatsApp no clicking noise.

I closed all apps, reset the phone.

Turned the settings on and off then reset the phone many things, not sure what to do?

Also noticed in facebook my predictive words/ auto correct function was turned off

when in fact the setting in General>Keyboard> Auto-Correction "ON" and Predictive Text > "On"

Thank you in advacne for any help.

Also another spicy bug when scrolling in safari, If I go to search images and click on a image, then swipe back to look at the main search of images i can not scroll down or up with my finger to look at the main present images. As if the feature gets caught up not allowing me to scroll, clearly another bug.

This is probably site-specific issue

How to contact a Web Publisher or the Host

Contacting a web publisher or the host of a website can be helpful for various reasons, such as reporting issues with the website, seeking permission to use content, or addressing copyright concerns. The process may vary slightly depending on the website, but here are some general steps you can follow:

  1. Check the Website: First, visit the website and look for a "Contact" or "About Us" page. Many websites provide contact information there, including email addresses or contact forms.
  2. Web Hosting Company: If you have an issue related to the website's hosting, such as reporting abuse or copyright infringement, you can try contacting the web hosting company. To find the hosting company, you can use online tools like "whoishostingthis.com" or similar services. Once you identify the hosting company, visit their website and look for contact information or support options.
  3. Be Clear and Polite: Whether you are reaching out via email, contact form, or social media, always be clear, concise, and polite in your communication. Clearly state the reason for contacting them and provide any necessary details to help them understand your request or concern.
  4. Give Time for a Response: Allow some time for the web publisher or hosting company to respond. It may take a few days, depending on their responsiveness.

Remember, always be respectful in your communication, and avoid any hostile or aggressive language, as it is unlikely to yield a positive response.

Given that your settings have the keyboard sounds off but you're still experiencing clicking sounds in certain apps, it seems like an issue specific to those apps rather than a global system setting. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

  • While there aren't typically sound settings specific to Safari, clearing cache and cookies might help:
    • Go to Settings > Safari.
    • Scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data.
  • You can also check if any extensions or third-party keuboards might be causing the issue.
