Apple watch SE(gen2)setup for a family member

Im trying to set up a SE(gen 2)watch for my daughter but keep getting this notification- Setting up for a family member requires Apple Watch Series 4

(GPS + Cellular),Apple Watch SE or later.

The watch im setting up is an SE,,,,,,,,

Frustrated, can anyone help?

it needs to have cellular with a carrier plan (eSIM) from a provider who supports watches set up for kids.

You didn't say if your watch has cellular
