Satellite feature not available in iPhone 16 Pro Max

Hi. Kindly assist I have a iPhone 16 pro max

for some reason I just cannot access the satellite feature I have tried it from the control center it just don't show up even in settings if you type in ‘satellite’ absolutely nothing I can’t even find the demo mode to try it seems like this phones doesn’t support this feature at all yet. I’m in a supported country kindly assist cause it’s quite frustrating.

Emergency SOS via satellite availability

You need an iPhone 14 or later (all models) with:
- iOS 16.1 or later in the US or Canada
- iOS 16.2 or later in France, Germany, Ireland and the UK
- iOS 16.4 or later in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland
- iOS 17.6 or later in Japan
You’ll need to be in a place with no mobile or Wi-Fi coverage.
You’ll need to connect to a satellite with your iPhone
Emergency SOS via satellite is available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, the UK and the US3
International travellers who visit a country or region where Emergency SOS via satellite is available can use the feature while visiting, except if they bought their iPhone in certain countries or regions.

Tap Satellite, then choose Emergency SOS via satellite (or other satellite feature). In the Settings app: Open Settings, then tap Satellite and choose Emergency ...
