update, Okay, I fell through a trap door. I need to stay off the Reminders tab and stick with the "alert" setting in the appointment. You have been warned!!!

Does anyone have an idea how to add multiple reminders to an appointment now? ( Dec 2024 Calendar Version 15.0 (2993.2.5.1)).

I assume you mean Alerts. If so....
Double click on the appointment.
Click in on "Alert" and it should open the timing options.
Hover over the existing alert and a "+" should appear at the end of the line.
Click the "+" and add more alerts.
PS - agree with you on Reminders in Calendar. It's a great idea, but all or nothing is not useful for me.
