Why does this website keep asking me to sign up, has me login, then does nothing but ask again?

—Mr/Mrs/Ms Moderator - you seem to be implying that a request to sign up is the same as a request to sign in. Is that what you meant?
Moderators do not respond here, only other end users like you. To contact the moderation staff, you can find their email address in the Terms of Use document we all agreed to follow to participate here:

Does this happen several times per session, or only once a few minute after you sign in? There is a longstanding bug where we may get logged out about 9AM Pacific time but, on logging back in, you stay logged in for hours.
If you are logging in every time you first launch the forums, that is normal. Perpertual log-in was discontinued probably 20 years ago. We were told it was a security measure.
If you are logged out several times a session, what is the approximate length of time between log-outs?
According to his post, he seems to not be able to sign UP to Apple Support Communities. I’d suggest him to update his Mac if possible, and make sure that his safari version is the latest. Restarting the machine may also resolve it, as well as closing the browser (with cmd+q) or deleting website data.

When you log into the Community , you do not remain logged in until you sign out .
Sometimes I go to another website for a minute or to my Files or Photos to add an attachment , come back and my post isn't there .
If you're away from the Community for a length of time , you may have to sign in again even if you didn't close the tab .
