Carbonite account has been disabled on Sequoia

Has anyone resolved the problem of Carbonite account becoming disabled after updating to Sequoia?

Reinstalling Carbonite seems to correct the problem, which then reoccurs shortly thereafter.

This appears to be related to the newly implemented feature in Sequoia for "private WiFi address." Using a private WiFi address is incompatible with the current version of Carbonite. This is a new feature in Sequoia so it did not affect people before. The solution is to turn off "private WiFi address." Details are found here:
