How can I stop my Apple Watch from sending random greeting messages?

A message appeared on my watch this morning stating “Happy New Year, C—— A—-!” (Giving the name of a place I regularly visit.) When I first got the watch a month ago, each morning the message “Good morning, C—- A—-!” appeared.

I don’t know why it chose this name - it’s simply one of my many contacts.

Advice please for stopping this, or at least changing it to my name rather than some random place.

Thank you!

Check the contacts app and see if C--- A--- has "Me" against it.

"Me" should appear against your contact. If it doesnt then complete the My Card at the top of Contacts with your details.
