Removing pre-installed Photos app on my iPhone 16 Plus

I just purchased a new iphone 16+ and I transfered my google photo app from my old phone to my new phone however I can't delet the photo app that was already on my new iphone 16+ .

When I click on the photo app the only options I have are remove app but it will keep the app in my app library?

The Photos app is a core part of iOS on iPhone. As such you don't have to have it on your home screen, but you cannot completely remove it. Are you planning to use the Camera on your iPhone to take photos? If yes, photos will be saved to the Photos app, not a Google app. That doesn't mean you can't upload your photos to your Google App, because you can. But you don't own a Google or Android phone. You own an iPhone and you'll need to use the tools which are native to your iPhone.
