YouTube videos in Safari randomly darken

On MacBook Air M3, latest updates installed, no extensions enabled in Safari. I am finding that that some videos will randomly darken at random frames. Like the brightness is turned way down for a second and then back to normal. Other times video will go black for a second and then return to normal. Audio never cuts out and the video continues normally. Same video does not do this in Firefox. I did see some older posts about similar issues but they are so old that I did not think they would be applicable since many updates were done since. Anyone else have this issue? Are there any suggestions besides clearing cache, rebooting, trying another profile, or starting in safe mode?

I found the issue. It was an accessibility setting I had configured for dimming flashing lights on screen. In MacOS 15.2, Settings - Accessibility - Display. Turn off the Dim flashing lights setting. Restart Safari.
