iPhone passcode not recognized on Mac for Apple Account

it asking for my iPhone password to allow my Mac and iPhone to be synced with Apple ID services. The issue is it’s not recognizing the password to my phone when I put it in.

If you are being prompted for a code on your mac when trying to login to an Apple ID account, the code you are being asked for is not your iPhone's passcode. The code is a two-factor identification code that should have been displayed to you on one of your other trusted devices such as your iPhone. More information is available here:
