MacBook Air M2 2022 Wi-Fi not see for 5 min away wake up

Hi everybody. I’ve noticed with my MacBook Air M2 2022 ever since the updates, whenever I wake it up from sleep, it takes forever to see my Wi-Fi, but eventually everything connects (a good 8-10 min before messages update since last time I woke it up; won’t open internet or mail for the same period of time bc not see Wi-Fi, etc). My son noticed the same thing with his laptop and said, “why is Wi-Fi so jacked up now with the laptops?”

Anybody else noticed this? Eventually, after sitting there, it sees Wi-Fi again and works. It’s only on the MacBook Airs, and not a similar thing when I wake up the iPads or obviously my phone.

Yes, I have the latest tri band router from Costco, firmware updates are good, and that router has been working for over a year until I bought these 2022 MacBook Air‘s Black Friday sales. Strangely, I can see the Wi-Fi icon (sonar symbol is all black but it still isn’t seeing the Wi-Fi re no functionality for at least 8 min w wake up or power up from off).

When you say, “until I bought these 2022 MacBook Air‘s Black Friday sales”. What did you mean by that? Where did you purchase them from? Was it new from an Apple Store or an Apple authorized retailer? Or from a third party vendor? To me it sounds like a third party vender reselling two year old used Airs. Hopefully I’m wrong. Either way take to either an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider and have them examined.

BTW, since you asked, I have that same model and haven’t experienced any wifi issues with it which is also running the latest OS version.
