Insufficient disk space for partition resizing on 256GB disk

I have a disk that is 256 GB, but my current partition only has 65GB this would be completely normal if I were able to resize it to a larger size, but unfortunately, I can't since disk utility is reporting I don't have enough.

If the Asahi Linux was removed properly

The diskutil list command would look much like this

/dev/disk0 (internal, physical):

   #:                       TYPE NAME                    SIZE       IDENTIFIER

   0:      GUID_partition_scheme                        *500.3 GB   disk0

   1:             Apple_APFS_ISC Container disk1         524.3 MB   disk0s1

   2:                 Apple_APFS Container disk3         494.4 GB   disk0s2

   3:        Apple_APFS_Recovery Container disk2         5.4 GB     disk0s3

/dev/disk3 (synthesized):

   #:                       TYPE NAME                    SIZE       IDENTIFIER

   0:      APFS Container Scheme -                      +494.4 GB   disk3

                                 Physical Store disk0s2

1:                APFS Volume Macintosh HD            11.2 GB    disk3s1

   2:              APFS Snapshot com.apple.os.update-... 11.2 GB    disk3s1s1

   3:                APFS Volume Preboot                 6.9 GB     disk3s2

   4:                APFS Volume Recovery                1.0 GB     disk3s3

   5:                APFS Volume Data                    28.6 GB    disk3s5

   6:                APFS Volume VM                      20.5 KB    disk3s6

How you are going to get this right

Personally, I would wait for someone who can offer that solution

Outside of that

You can use the information my other post here as a guide to remove all the Linux partitions, then merge the "(free space)" back into the APFS Container currently listed in your screenshot as "disk0s2". I may have had one earlier post in that thread as well you may want to reference.

Edit: FYI, it is usually best to review the removal procedures prior to installing or modifying a system so you are prepared with everything you need. I believe the Asahi team just expects a user to perform a DFU Firmware Restore to reset the Mac & push a clean copy of macOS onto the internal SSD followed by restoring from a backup. In my own personal experience it is usually easier to modify a system then to undo those modifications regardless what those modifications are.
