iPhone 16 pro battery worse than 4yo 12 mini

Hi Everyone,

I just purchased a brand new iPhone 16 pro yesterday upgrading from an iPhone 12 mini and I am experience terrible battery drain. This morning I had it charged to 100 percent and as I realised it was starting to drain abnormally I tried everything. I turned off background app refresh, turned off always on and did everything to try and preserve battery life but still nothing would work. From 9-12 am the charge has already gone from 100%-20~% and I’m so mad about it. Does anyone know why this might be and anything I can possibly do?
