Is there a version of the MacBook that does not have screen so fragile that it cracks the drop of a hat? I am looking for a new laptop (currently do not have a personal laptop), but the MacBooks Air laptops my kids have had personally or from school have screens that are way too fragile to consider.

I let my grandkids use my '22 MacBook Air. The youngest is 10. No damage ever. Perhaps in your case you need a more disposable laptop in the couple hundred dollar price range. Good luck.
