Macbook Air M2 Burn In Display

I recently started noticing burn in & I am a little worried, as this mac is only a year old, I use auto brightness, I keep screen brightness at 70%, I use a screen saver.... this mac is too new to be having issues already, will this be covered by apple care?

Macbook Air M2, macOs Sequoia 15.2, 16gb memory.

I have the exact same issue. I can confirm that this is NOT due to window transparency. It seems to occur when I open apps with a greyish background (e.g. iTerm2 or VS Code with Atom Theme) and appears on the left, right and bottom of the screen.

It seems to be some kind of short-term burn in though. For example, after watching a YouTube Video, I could see the title of video suggestions burned into the background of my terminal. After watching a different video, the burn in changed (no, the browser was not behind the terminal).

Anyone else experiencing this?
