Does Logic Pro and Garageband share resoures?

I have never installed Logic Pro on my Mac Studio. But I have a Logic in the Library/Application Support/Logic that is 18.07 Gigabytes. If GarageBand does not share resources is there anyway I can safely get rid of the Logic folder?

Thanks.

Mac Studio, macOS 15.2

I can tell you with certainty that Logic Pro uses Garageband resources:

/Library/Application Support/GarageBand

The file path you mentioned (Library/Application Support/Logic) is a colossal 75.51 GB for Logic Pro users that choose to download all of the resources (instruments, presets, loops, channel strip settings, patches, etc.)

..but as I am not a Garageband user, I cannot say for certain if Garageband uses Logic Pro.

I did take a look at the interface and it certainly looks like they share many of the same instruments.

Hope that helps,
