Read this support article about what to do if a iPhone or iPad is lost or stolen -->

Find your lost iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

- The Find My service described in the article is the only recovery feature Apple offers. It must be set up before the device is lost.

- Note that if you remotely erase your device as instructed in this article, if you subsequently remove it from your account as in this article --> Check your Apple Account device list to find where you’re signed in - Apple Support , then according to this article --> How to remove Activation Lock - Apple Support you remove activation lock from the device. Do not remove it from your account. If you do then a finder or thief will have an unlocked device that can be used by another person.

If until the moment your iphone 14 was lost ( or stolen ) if you were not singed-in your iCloud Account and along with that If you did not have the “Find my iPhone” ON / ACTIVE, then the only thing you can do would be to continue looking for it the old fashioned way, using your own eyes and memory and to continue looking for it and trying to remember where you had left it, before the last time you had it in your hands and going to tye exact places you were, right before the very last time you held it in your hands!

Things will be extremely easy though in the case that at the time you had lost it, you were Singed-In your iCloud Account and ALSO if you had also had the Find my iPhone service ON, which in that case, all you need to do is to get your hands on any other Apple device and which doesn’t need to be yours either ( could be the iPhone or iPad of a friend or any Apple Computer you have access to ) and considering the fact that you have access to your Apple Account / Login details —> those would be ( as a User Name ) your iCloud email address and ( the Password you had created for

logging- in ) either by remembering both or if not then by having them written down somewhere you can now have access to ( for example in a notebook back home where you had physically written them down ( in case something like this would ever occur ). In case and only in this last case, were you were logged in your iCloud account/Apple Account and you had the “Find my iPhone” was ON, you can simply launch the Application “FIND MY” from any other Apple device that you will LOGIN first and when you do, you will then be able to see LIVE on a 3D Satellite Map, where your iphone is located exactly and go get it. This works regardless if you lost it and/or if it was stolen and which in that case of loss due to theft, I would advice you to contact your local police station the moment you find it on the Map and provide to the police the exact location so they can retrieve it, as in the case it was stolen and which would be a high possibility in the case you have lost it somewhere outside like in a bar or literally anywhere in public and not inside your own house or similar like at a close friends house, as this can be dangerous especially if you surprise the person or people who now have it. I suggest you make no assumptions about the quality of the person/people who now hold it ( if the case appears to be like that ) since by surprising them with a sudden appearance where your phone and them or him/her are could turn out to be very dangerous for your safety ( and their/his/her safety ) so better let the police to retrieve it for you!

Good luck
