My teenager stayed with a family member and now she keeps getting alerts that an AirTag is following her , I have used the app to locate it and even went through all her luggage . Could AirPods give off same notification as air tag?
Short answer: no. Only the AirTags would provide this notification.
If the AirTag is present, any iPhone nearby would also receive this notification and only when the tag stays nearby, and in theory, only when both you and the tag are moving together.
When, and where is she located, when she gets these notifications? Have you tried making the tag play a sound?
