Modifying a shared photo library

I've set up my first shared photo library and now want to expand it to include older photos. My current shared library includes only 2024. Can I just modify the parameters as when I set up the current library to include earlier years? Or do I have to add individual photos manually? I thought this would be easy to do but see no way to do it.

You can only share automatically from the camera of your iPhone or iPad.

For your older photos on your Mac you will have to add the photos manually to the shared library.

You can do this easily by switching to your personal library and then selecting all photos at once with ⌘A. Then ctrl-click the selected photos and use the command "move ... photos to the Shared Library".

If you only want to share your best photos, set the Filter to "Favorites", before you select the photos.
