Why is my iPhone 8 microphone only recording static?

My iPhone 8's microphone isnt working properly. It sometimes works on calls, and it works for siri, but when I use voice memos, or any other app, all that is recorded is static noise.

iOS 16.6 microphone bug After the last update 16.6, when I try to talk on the phone the other person hears some noise, but not my voice, the phone is iPhone 13. If the conversation is on speaker everything is fine. I tested the microphone on a voice recorder or on a video recording and it works. Also Siri works fine. The phone is new, I haven't used it in a month. I don't think it's a hardware issue because everything was working great before the update.
