How do I reset my MacBook Air password?

i put the wrong password in and now it wont take the right one.how can i activate my macbook?

If you can’t sign-in to your Mac:

If you forgot your Mac login password - Apple Support

If you can’t get your Mac to sign-in to your AppleID:
