Setting up Touch ID on my IMAC 24

I just purchased my new iMac 24 and I want to use Touch ID. My question is can I do this with the keyboard that came with the iMac 24?

Yes, the keyboard that ships with the iMac has a Touch ID key on the top right corner of the keyboard.

PEr the Apple online store, the base iMac 24 does not come with Touch ID. See:

On the base model, the Touch ID keyboard is a US$80 upcharge. If you bought any other iMac 24, you should have that capability.
