Using AirPods with a lost case
I lost my AirPod case but still have the air buds I have the same generation AirPods that have no air buds can I use the case and use it as a new case

Using a Different Charging Case:
Yes. They will charge, but the case needs to be of the same generation. As for getting a replacement, go here: Set up your Replacement AirPods or Charging Case - Apple Support
