Mail does not load content on my Mac

The option to allow content to be downloaded used to be in Mail - Settings - General - Viewing but is not there since the last update.

This does not happen on iPad or iPhone

Re: Mail does not load content on my Mac

Seems that is now the default:

ie: On Mac, the setting may be necessary to protect privacy, yet you can turn it off in the Privacy settings:

Is there now an option at the top of the eMail to "load the Remote content" ?

From the article above: When you unselected the privacy option, you may have still chosen to separately hide your IP address and block all remote content. When Block All Remote Content is selected, a banner is shown in a message when you view it, indicating it contains remote content; you can choose then to download the content.

Of course, it is up to you whether to use this protection to choose what you view, or to turn that off.
