The game says to update but Apple isn’t reflecting the update is available. Any suggestions?

It is really annoying,happens 2-3 months in a row, then it behaves and updates, I don’t know why it takes so long to be approved considering those on android have had it for days
Perhaps the developer has not yet uploaded the update to their developer account for availability in the App Store.
Ask the developer what's up.
