You will neither have any audible reminders nor a screen waking up during Sleep Focus if set correctly.

When Sleep Focus is configured correctly on an iPhone, the following happens:

  1. No Audible Reminders: Notifications, including reminders, are silenced. This ensures that there are no audible disruptions while Sleep Focus is active.
  2. Screen Stays Off: The screen does not wake up for incoming notifications. This minimizes light distractions during sleep.

To Confirm Your Sleep Focus Is Set Correctly:

  1. Enable Silence Notifications:
    1. Go to Settings > Focus > Sleep.
    2. Ensure that "Silence Notifications" is enabled.
  2. Customize Lock Screen Behavior: Within Sleep Focus settings, check that Dim Lock Screen is toggled on. This prevents the screen from lighting up when notifications arrive. Options > Customise Screen > Sleep Screen [Enable]
  3. Allow Essential Alerts (if needed): If certain apps or contacts are critical (e.g., for emergencies), you can add them to the Allowed Notificationslist. Otherwise, everything will stay silent.

If set this way, Sleep Focus creates a completely distraction-free environment during your designated sleep hours.
