Add more attributes to stock function in Numbers

The Stock function in Numbers has a limited variety of attributes. Apple should add Price/Book ratio and also Book value per share. And other like price range etc. Maybe also provide Numbers with a dashboard functionality so the user can create and customize a stock portifolio, or for other Finance purposes.

Have you had a look at the 'My Stocks' template (at File > New in your menu if you are on the Mac)? It's basic, but it can serve some limited purposes.

Price/Book is not a particularly reliable number in many free sources of financial data, such as Yahoo! Finance, where Numbers gets its data. You can find it under 'Statistics' when looking at a specific company in Yahoo! Finance.

In my experience spreadsheets are great for financial analysis but are not a great tool for tracking a stock portfolio. A specialized tool is needed to do that reliably.

Still, if you want to give feedback to Apple (we're your fellow users here) then you can go to Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback in your menu.
