Is there a way to expand my MacBook Air's 13 inch Storage?

Hi.is there a way to expand the current storage of 4 GB for this mac book air?i am on macOS Big Sur version 11.7.10.l. I am looking for expanded physical storage essentially and not cloud storage.

The 2014 MacBook Air was sold with a storage configuration of 128, 256 or 512 GB of internal SSD (flash) storage. It cannot be upgraded. You can, however, use an external USB drive to expand your storage capacity.


Do not confuse the 4GB of RAM (OS & application workspace memory) with the 128+ GB of storage (closet space for your files).
