Removing tags from folders

I need to remove tags from folders but the choices are too diversified so please can someone suggest aleternetives

In a Finder Window, right-click on that folder, and from the secondary menu, select Tags… That will show the individual tag(s) on the folder. Place your cursor behind the last tag shown and then backspace to delete them. Press return and you are done removing the tags on that folder.


For example, I have three tags associated with an "SVG" folder on my Desktop.



One would place the insertion point behind the Salient tag and then backspace to remove all three tags. Then press return to close this panel.
