that appear to be a 4096 by 2304 display (slightly higher than regular '4K' and 8 bits/color. HDMI and USB-C inputs.
To use with a modern Mac, the USB-C cable used should be certified to SuperSpeed PLUS or at least 20 G bits/sec, and must be ONE meter or shorter. Longer cables can cause transmision errors, and the screen may drop out.

Dear OldGoat67 and Grant Bennet-Alder, thank you very much for your willingness to help. This cable solved the problem:
Satechi Certified USB C Thunderbolt 4 Cable (3.2ft/ 1M) 8k/60Hz Display, 40Gbps Data Transfer, 240W PD, PCIE, Compatible with Thunderbolt 4/3, USB4, USB-C, for MacBook Pro, Hubs, Docking and More
Hopefully, this will be a permanent solution.

This is the cable that solved my problem:
Satechi Certified USB C Thunderbolt 4 Cable (3.2ft/ 1M) 8k/60Hz Display, 40Gbps Data Transfer, 240W PD, PCIE, Compatible with Thunderbolt 4/3, USB4, USB-C, for MacBook Pro, Hubs, Docking and More
Cable changes hedge against a cable with broken wires, ONLY.
Using a high enough spec cable of appropriately short length is the key to getting your display working.
I have the same problem, cable changes do not help.
