Re: Apple News will not connect on my iPad
Could be an issue with the DNS server settings, (or you could try General > Reset > Reset Network Settings)
or
perhaps turning the router off, wait a few minutes, then turn back on, may be enough to help.
Eg: Sometimes the Wi-fi provider performs maintenance, and the router needs that restart to perform well,

Else: You may need to check your iPadOS version is up-to-date with the newest compatible iPadOS version for that model: Eg: Look in Settings > General > Software Updates to see if an update is waiting to be installed.
If so, it is always wise to back up your iPad data before updating the iPadOS version.
