Photos not saving to bottom of iPad after update

Since updating on my iPad now when I AirDrop a photo from my iPhone to my iPad or choose save a photo from a text message on my iPad it no longer goes to the very bottom where I can easily find it. For some reason it just gets mixed in the middle. Is there a solution to this? (since the update, same thing happens on my phone.)

Since I have this screenshot handy:

When you first open Photos, the opening window has Photos at the top. But scrolling to see the stuff at the top (is that scrolling up or scrolling down? I've never figured it out…), when it says Library, the sort menu becomes available.

The issue might be related to the sorting settings in your Photos app. Have you checked if the sort order changed after the update? Try adjusting the sort settings to see if that helps.

Also, try saving a photo through other methods and see if those photos appear at the bottom as expected. This can help determine if the issue is specific to AirDrop or a more general problem with photo saving.

Wow, thank you so much for responding❤️. Well, I searched on every possible spot on the settings and I couldn’t find any sorting option for my photos. Could you possibly lead me there step-by-step? However, I now have more detailed information on what’s happening: basically if I take a picture on my iPhone on December 29 and then today(January 7) I AirDrop it it gets saved with the other photos on my iPad that were saved on December 29. And obviously the picture I took on my iPhone this morning and airdropped got saved at the bottom of my photos like all airdropped and saved photos used to. So it probably is a sorting thing but again I don’t know how to find that spot to change the sorting order. Thank-you!
