Disk Repair Failure on 27" iMac 2019 with Adobe Software Crashes

Ref; 27" iMac 2019 16GB RAM

After multiple software crashes and unexpected HD shutdowns I ran disk repair. This showed no hardware issues but failed on the data. See attached screenshot for the output. The repair was run in recovery mode. Since running the first repair I have carried out library file clean up running subsequent disk repairs without any change. I have resorted to opening minimum software at any one time but still get adobe software crashes. All adobe software up to date. Using 15.2 OSX.

Make sure to run First Aid on the hidden APFS Container. Within Disk Utility you may need to click "View" and select "Show All Devices" before the hidden Container appears on the left pane of Disk Utility. Running First Aid on the hidden Container will also scan all of the included APFS volumes including the "Data" volume.

As long as those file system errors remain, then your macOS installation & Adobe will continue to have issues. If after several First Aid scans the same errors remain, then you will need to perform a clean install of macOS by first erasing the drive followed by reinstalling macOS & restoring from a backup. On an Intel Mac (without a Fusion Drive) you should select the whole physical drive to erase as GUID partition and APFS (top option).

I hope you have a good backup, if not, then do that immediately.

If you have to perform a clean install of macOS, then I would suggest first creating a bootable macOS USB installer just to be safe so you have more options if Internet Recovery has problems.
