Apple TV keeps trying to connect to unknown

When viewing content (mainly apps that use apples native player Infuse, Netflix, etc.) the playback randomly stops/app crashes and I get:

AirPlay

Unable to connect to “<Unknown>”

Ive disabled AirPlay on the Apple TV but still get this error. Could this be a multicast issue on my network? I’ve replaced the Apple TV but still have the same problem. The Apple TV is connected via Ethernet.

Same issue. Happens when I’m watching on multiples atv apps. Usually it happens when the content is paused. Crashes the app completely, or just closes out the video being watched and often resets my progress.

Same issue but happens only when I first turn on the AppleTV device. When I hit OK the message repeats and the "<Unknown>" is replaced by the AppleTV device name. This started happening only recently, after automatic upgrade to tvOS 18.3. It's as if the AppleTV is trying to AirPlay to itself, which makes no sense.
