How can I recover lost tabs in Chrome on my iPad?

As a committed Android user, my iPad is an unintuitive landscape which I only use when travelling!

i use chrome browser and over the years have amassed about 18 tabs which I find helpful whilst away.

today for some reason that “tab group” has disappeared!

no idea why God has decreed this, but in the world of “Windows” (and possibly Linux and Android), chrome has the ability to “restore” the last session, this doesn’t appear in my history on this tablet and since many of these tabs were historical, they also don’t appear anywhere in “history”.

is there some way to recover a “last session” using the iPad?

it was hidden behind a black screen which I’ve been swatting, swiping up, swiping down in an attempt to get rid of it!

didn’t realise that was a cloak&dagger page!

Eventually found my precious tabs hidden behind it!
