I would like to make entries for my Phone based Journal, on my 13" MacBook Pro (2020), but can't find the same app on my computer to do it. It's a lot easier to type entries on my laptop vs the phone, but the same app doesn't appear to available on both devices. Does anyone know if there is an Apple journal app that would permit entries to be made on either device?

The Apple Journal app is only available on iPhone, not on Mac.
You can use the Notes app to write journal entries and those will sync to the Notes app on the iPhone if you save them in the iCloud group.
Outside of that, you would need to find a 3rd party journaling app in the App Store that has versions for Mac and iPhone.
